Brave CF champ Carlston Harris sees Jarrah Al-Selawe as his next opponent

Carlston Harris,  Thiago Vieira Damascena While reigning Brave Combat Federation Welterweight Champion Carlston “Mocambique” Harris, 30, was born in Skeldon, Guyana, he is fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. After recovering from an injury, the mixed martial artist is back in training now and he is excited about his first title defense.  “I am expecting my first title defense as early as possible,” Harris stated. “I am waiting for Brave Combat Federation to give me a date, opponent and place regarding the opportunity to defend my championship title.” During Harris’s absence, the welterweight division of Brave CF became one of the toughest divisions in the Bahrain-based MMA promotion. With multiple fighters joining the promotion, the welterweight title is now the most sought after in the promotion. Jordan's Jarrah Al-Selawe vs Algeria's Tahar Hadbi at 'Brave 12' in Indonesia

Jarrah Al Selawe (4th from the left) and team PRESS RELEASE Representing The Kingdom Fighters from Jordan, Jarrah “The Jordanian Lion” Al-Selawe recently cleared rumors and confirmed that he has signed the contract to face Algeria's Tahar Hadbi in Jakarta, Indonesia at “Brave 12” on May 11, 2018. Bahrain-based mixed martial arts promotion Brave Combat Federation had announced that it would host its first event in Jakarta, Indonesia. While Al-Selawe did not give further details regarding the fight, he did not the possibility of an interim championship of the promotion to be introduced in Indonesia. Previously, he faced Hadbi’s ObyFight teammate David Bear at “Brave 10: The Kingdom Rises,” which was hosted in Amman, Jordan. Tahar Hadbi renews contract with Brave Combat Federation

Tahar Hadbi Tahar “Fast Hands” Hadbi, 30, of Algeria has officially renewed his fight contract with Brave Combat Federation. The three-fight contract of the Algerian welterweight fighter expired after his fight against “The Latest” Mohammed Fakhreddine, 33, of Lebanon at “Brave 10: The Kingdom Rises” held in Amman, Jordan. There were widespread speculations regarding Hadbi leaving the promotion. This was set to an end when he signed a multi-fight contract with the Bahrain-based mixed martial arts promotion.  Hadbi had two of his bouts ending in no-contests at Brave CF. These are the main event against Carl “The Bomber” Booth of England at “Brave CF 5” and the bout against Fakhreddine at “Brave CF 9: The Kingdom of Champions.” At “Brave 10: The Kingdom Rises,”  Hadbi returned strong to win his final fight in the contract against his rival, Fakhreddine, by TKO in the second round. U.S. Vice President Mike Pence to visit Israel, Jordan, Egypt

Donald Trump, Mike Pence ( Facebook/Mike Pence ) United States Vice President Michael Richard "Mike" Pence, 58, is set to visit the Middle East in late January 2018. Among the countries he will visit are Israel, Jordan and Egypt. Originally, Pence was scheduled to travel to the transcontinental region in December 2017 but it was postponed. He postponed the trip so he could preside over the vote on a tax overhaul favored by U.S. President Donald Trump. In the original itinerary, Pence was supposed to meet with Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas, Pope Tawadros II of the Coptic Orthodox Church of Alexandria and Ahmed Muhammad Ahmed el-Tayeb, the current Grand Imam of al-Azhar. The meetings were cancelled after Trump announced that his administration had decided to recognize Jerusalem as the capital of Israel on December 6, 2017. Jordan set to host Brave Combat Federation in 2018

PRESS RELEASE Brave Combat Federation (Brave CF) has announced that Jordan will host the tenth edition of the event on March 2, 2018. “Brave X: The Kingdom Rises” will be hosted in the Prince Hamzah Sport Hall at King Hussein Sports City, which is one of the special projects in Jordan and is the largest closed sporting hall in Jordan. Founded by His Highness Sheikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, First Deputy President of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports and the President of Bahrain Athletics Association, Brave CF is the fastest growing mixed martial arts promotion in the world. The sports media, which is based in Bahrain, features athletes from the Philippines extensively and Stephen Loman is the current champion of the Bantamweight division.
